Terms of Service

By installing the Cloud Notepad extension or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Cloud Notepad is a notepad that lives in your browser's side panel. The free extension runs fully offline against local storage. Pro adds cloud sync, full-text search, and a web dashboard.

You can use the free extension without an account. An account is only required for Pro features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and must be at least 13 years old.

Pro is billed at $2.99/month, $5.99/quarter, or $20/year through Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

You can cancel any time from your account page. Pro stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled by Dodo Payments under their standard policy. If you believe you were billed in error, email jeven2008@gmail.com.

You own your notes. We claim no ownership. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display your notes back to you so sync, search, and the dashboard work.

We do not use your notes to train machine-learning models.

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe rights, store malware or illegal content, harass or impersonate people, or probe and overload our infrastructure.

Individual synced notes are capped at 200KB to keep sync reliable.

The Service is provided as is and as available. The free extension stores notes in local IndexedDB; clearing browser data can permanently remove local-only notes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Notepad is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous 12 months, or $0 for free users.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for material violations or if we must stop providing the Service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes update the date above and significant changes are emailed to signed-in users.
